A PTFE hose assembly is comprised of a braided material covering a flexible PTFE tube with a fitting affixed to either end. Advantages • Temperature Resistant. It works well for everything from high ambient, fluid or gas temperatures (+450°F) to cryogenic applications (-65°F). • Chemical Resistant. It is inert to most commercial chemicals, acids, alcohols, coolants, elastomers, petroleum compounds, solvents, vinyls, synthetic lubricants, and hydraulic fluids. It can withstand continuous flexing, vibration, or impulse without failure from flex fatigue. • Moisture resistant. It absorbs no moisture hot or cold. It is easy to clean and sterilize. • Non-Contaminating. Conveyed materials, fluids, or gases will not contaminate in service. • High Flow Rates. Its low coefficient of friction with anti- stick properties insures continuous lower pressure drop during service with good pressure rating. • Non-Aging. It resists deterioration. It has an unlimited shelf life because properties do not change with age or exposure to weather.
